Night Fury isn’t Real¶
Okay, now let me explain. For a while, I had an alt account named Night fury well... it wasn't always called that I changed it. So I wouldn't be effectively catfishing everyone because people apparently don't have much skepticism besides the RoR (school bus) community. So, I effectively used the account to get a grasp on who I was meeting and such and make sure I wasn't going to get myself into a group of problematic people and to fuck around and pull my friends legs a bit. But of course that came with some serious consequences. People ended up trusting an entity that basically didn't exist. And by the time I came out about it, it's safe to say everyone. Is pretty pissed at me, At least, who were close. Everyone else has probably had one message from Night Fury outside the Rigs and Rods community or has gotten an email and such from it, but that's basically it.
And I tried to start some servers and stuff under that alias before I came out about it. But I realized when I was doing that I was inflating the numbers a such as community members count, subscriber count, and so on. So I quickly disbanded the server and removed the YouTube channel associated with the Starlight Media Program. So, with this being said, take it from me. Don't create an alternate identity to fit in with your friends. Be yourself. Sure, it's probably going to take longer, but you also don't wanna when you do have to come out about it. You don't want all of them to ditch you almost all at once. Or if you run into someone who won't take it well, they will without a doubt respectfully cuss you out. So don't do it. Or if you already are, which I really hope you're not. Take this as a sign that you should maybe stop because the longer you wait, the longer it's going to take for you to gain their trust back.
